In addition to the Terms and Conditions which govern your use of  http://www.mbcountryliving.ca  (the “Site”) operated by Minor Bros Farm Supply Ltd. (“MB Country Living”), its affiliates, and/or subsidiaries (together with MB Country Living, “us”, “we”, or “our”), this Privacy Policy describes our privacy protection practice. By visiting our Site, you agree to our collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Our primary purpose in collecting Personal Information is to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We also use your Personal Information for the following purposes:

MB Country Living will retain your Personal Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

 MB Country Living will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Site, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.

7. STORAGE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We store and process your Personal Information on computers, and we protect it by maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable federal and provincial regulations. We work with third-party sites to enable them to accept payments from you. MB Country Living is not responsible for the working of such third-party sites.  MB Country Living disclaims any liability for any errors in payment amounts, method, technical problems in payment, etc.

Our contracts dictate that these service providers only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit.

MB Country Living  will not sell or rent any of your Personal Information to third parties in the normal course of doing business and only shares your personal information with third parties as described in this policy.

9. ADVERTISING AND SPAMMING

This  Site provides a platform for users to read about and purchase MB Country Living products. No advertising or promotion or spamming in the guise of purchasing MB Country Living’s products is allowed.

10. LINKS TO OTHER SITES  

Our Site may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.  

We have no control over and assume no liability for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or service providers.

11. SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your Personal Information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We encrypt the pipe through which Personal Information, such as credit card numbers is sent, using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology as part of the measures taken to protect your Personal Information as it is sent over the Internet to our server subject to our qualifications above regarding the insecurity of the internet.

12. CHANGE IN PRIVACY POLICY

From time to time we may make changes to this Privacy Policy.  We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Site.  Please check our privacy policy on a regular basis for changes.  Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on the Site.

If any part of this Privacy Policy is held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

This Privacy Policy and use of the site shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein without reference to its principles of conflicts of laws.  MB Country Living and the user each consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, Ontario Canada, for any dispute arising out of this Privacy Policy, the use of this Site or the performance of the obligations hereunder.

MB Country Living investigates all complaints and responds within ninety (90) business days after receipt of written correspondence. If the complaint is found to be justified MB Country Living takes appropriate measures to resolve the complaint, including, if necessary, amending its policies and practices.
